The Tocantins State Science Fair (FECITO) is organized through a collective effort made possible by the collaboration of various programs and initiatives from the Federal University of Northern Tocantins (UFNT). Among the main collaborators are PET Natural Sciences (PETCNat), the Graduate Program in Science and Mathematics Teaching (PPGECIM), and the Extension and Research Center in Biology Teaching (NEPEBIO).
To adequately meet the needs of the event, FECITO's organization was structured into thematic committees, each with specific responsibilities:

🙏 Tribute to Professor Gecilane Ferreira
FECITO was conceived and led, in its early editions, by Professor Gecilane Ferreira, whose dedication to education and science left a lasting legacy. His passing represented a great loss to the academic community of Tocantins.
